No, not of the slippery variety!
After having suffered without a radio, with just the thrum of a 2.5 litre
diesel engine for company, I finally picked up a cd/radio for the Rover 825
Now the speakers in this car are pretty good for standard but the boot not
only passes the Mafia standard "two bodies" test, it`d probably suit Hitler
or Saddam for bulk cadaver carriage!
There`s not a chance I could have enough kit to fill this boot, so what
about a massive sound system? I`ve not been so bothered about "ICE" in the
past, but this could be quite fun. I had a mate at uni who had a Scorpio
with a whopping sub in the back and loads of component speakers around the
interior. Was in a car audio shop the other day buying adaptor leads and I
found the sound quality of their demo system very impressive.
So guys, anyone with some experience of this kind of stuff? Any pointers?
From my point of view, this could be an aspect of motoring/modifying that
doesn`t have constant costs involved, like petrol, servicing, tax etc! I
might need audio insurance but who`s going to rob an unassuming rover 825
diesel?
